I take it people are going by Vg chartz when they say Ps3 outsold the 360 in 07.
Microsoft said they shipped 10million by end of 06 but only sold around 7 to 8 million according to VG. Which makes there total for 07 around 8 or so million, once again according to VG. Looking at the monthly figures the 360 outsold Ps3 monthly most of the year so no, the ps3 didn't outsell it.
These are Vg figures of course and to be taken with a pinch of salt but as everyone seems to be keen to b...
Actually Forza 2 has sold well. Nearly 3million in Half a year is far from a poor seller.
I dare say it will sell more on the 360 as it has the biggest user base and looks like its going to get all the advertising.
I played the last ones on the Playstation but will be getting it for the 360. Need those achivements.

Looks like all the consoles will sell this time round. I think Sony will probably catch up and surpass the 360 in aabout 09, it won't happen in 08 especially if there only outselling it by 150,000 or so a month at the moment.
True the Ps3 sales may improve but so probably will the xbox 360 with the price drop which we all know is looming.
I thought COD4 was a case of pretty graphics but not so mucg going on under the hood. The A.I was awful, the infinite spawning enemies ridiculous and on veteran it was a case of enemies having infinite grenades and a run to check points.
It still looked lovely though.
The reason it costs is because all those demos and friends lists etc have to be stored, wheres the GtHd demo on Ps3... its not there, its been replaced by the new one.
Gamertags take a lot of space when theres over 10million of them, achivements etc are all stored by microsoft...recover your gamer tag and see what i mean.
The ps3 online is a poor relation to xbox live and well worth the little we pay for it.
If your joining the army than you might as well not bother selling your 360. Not as though you will need the money once your away.

I used to love tekken on the ps1 but this looks crap.
Have to admit i use my 360 the most....so far. Onlines better and the game libairy is better..at the moment. This might change over the next couple of years, but at the moment its my most used machine.
I think the EA thing is quite possible, theres been rumours about it for a while. Micorsoft keeps buying and eating away at Sonys marketshare and while i have no doubt Sony will have a good 08 we would be silly to discount microsoft.
So the 360 was the lead platform and then they switch over to ps3. In other words...once the 360 is nailed we port to ps3. Same old story.
No surprise there, the 360 does seem to have better textures.
